Mike Tobey: “It was a no brainer to come back to Valencia Basket”
American center Mike Tobey was introduced this morning as a new Valencia Basket player for the next two seasons in a press conference that took place at the Ford Montalt Car Dealership. Tobey, who starts his second stage in Valencia Basket after being one of the 2016-17 Endesa League Champions, comes from Iberostar Tenerife, team with which he averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds in his second season in the Endesa League, raising his numbers to 19, 5 points and 12 rebounds in the Playoff for the title.
Tobey said that “coming back here, a lot of the guys in the team are the same from the last time, so felt right to come back here. When the opportunity came across, for me it was a no brainer to come back”
